Decor on a Dime is a consignment shop offering stylish furniture and home decor at reasonable prices. The stock is brought in on consignment by sellers who are often remodeling, downsizing or handling estate sales. Selling prices are set between the store and the seller. Items are kept for 120 days with markdowns occurring at 4 different times during the period. Once the item has sold, the consigner receives a cheque for 40%. Settlements are done at the beginning of each calendar month following the month in which the items are sold.
