The Green Door Thrift Shop is operated by the Women of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.  For   over fifty years, this project has collected usable clothing and house wares, which are then offered for sale at affordable prices. Each year the Women of St. Luke’s allocate the proceeds from the Green Door to various community, Diocesan, and worldwide charities, as well as to the budget of St. Luke’s Church.  The funds also maintain the Green Door property.

The Green Door has supported organizations such as the Good Samaritan Center , Bexar County Detention Ministries, Christian Assistance Ministry, Habitat for Humanity, SAMM (San Antonio Metropolitan Ministries), the Children’s Bereavement Center , the Texas Water Mission, Mercy Ships International, and many more. 

The Green Door thrives on donations of clothing and house wares in good condition.
  We also accept consignments.  Our consistent best sellers include:

Sales Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm . Closed on Sundays and Mondays. Donations  Accepted during above times.  Consignments Wednesday – Friday, 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Certain items are not  accepted on consignment  when we are overstocked.  The weekly list of these items is recorded, and can be accessed by calling the phone number of the store after business hours. 826-7111
